You almost have to have bot like reflexes to block properly or use a shield without auto block in singleplayer. AIs pace of attacking needs to be tweaked a bit. 3. CountChadvonCisberg. Here is a quick Mod install guide for both the Eagle Rising Mod & Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord. Plenty of people are struggling with how to install Eagle Risi
I prefer at least setting the character damage to 75%, but you do you. The middle difficulty is ok. Early game is ROUGH at bannerlord, at least imo, but once you get into later game with better gear and higher level you can always increase the difficulty. Or go bannerlord to start and if you hate it then decrease the difficulty! Tips with a two-handed weapon. Just learn how to work your block quick I auto it, but after one block and you hear the defect release and hit again, or throw out the kick to stun then kill. By the time I hit level 8 or so I one hit most things besides high class and lord units with a two hander. Don't stop moving.

And a long Turkish musket that can't be used on horseback (I like to call it a "karamultuk" or a "jezail" and love its ornate design).
Like previous games, you can still hire people in the tavern. These are named characters with skills and a better life expectancy. The companion menu shows space for five close pals, special roles you can assign to certain people: Engineer, Surgeon, Quartermaster, Sergeant, Scout.
